EXTENSION OF VOUCHER REDEMPTION DEADLINE FOR VOLUME LICENSEE CLAIMANTS
The final deadline for redeeming settlement vouchers issued to participants in Microsoft's "volume licensing" programs (e.g. the Open, Select or Enterprise programs) has been extended to April 16, 2015 redemption deadline and will not be extended further.

The current September 16, 2010 voucher redemption deadline will NOT be extended for settlement vouchers issued to claimants who did not participate in a Microsoft "volume licensing" program.

If you have questions regarding the voucher redemption process, click on the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) link on the left side of the page. If you have questions that are not addressed on this website, call the Claims Administrator at 1-800-960-5660, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. PST.

Settlement to provide up to $1.1 billion in benefits.

A settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit about certain Microsoft software acquired by consumers and businesses between February 18, 1995 and December 15, 2001 for use in California. People and businesses that are covered by the settlement can get vouchers that may be redeemed for cash after buying eligible computer products. The Court-ordered notice and other documents at this website explain the settlement and the benefits it provides. The deadline for mailing your claim was January 8, 2005.

This is the only authorized Web site for the California settlement and the only authorized place to find out how to file claims and receive vouchers. Please do not rely upon other sites that set out different and unauthorized claims procedures, such as the unauthorized www.msfreepc.com operated by Lindows.com, Inc. The Court overseeing the settlement has determined that claims filed through the www.msfreepc.com site are invalid under the Settlement Agreement and must be rejected.
